Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth

A federated state formed by the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1569. Neighboring powers partitioned it between 1772 and 1795.

Union of Lublin: The 1569 agreement that established the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth by uniting the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. It created the Commonwealth and set the terms of its union.
Kingdom of Poland: The Polish kingdom that joined with the Grand Duchy of Lithuania to form the Commonwealth in 1569. It was one of the two states united by the Union of Lublin.
