Roman triumph

A formal procession through Rome celebrating a victorious commander and army. Awarded by the Senate, it displayed captured spoils and honored the victor with exceptional public distinction.

Triumphator: A victorious Roman commander honored with a triumphal procession. The ceremony centered on the commander, whose status and appearance marked the procession.
