Singapore Strait

The Singapore Strait is a narrow sea passage between Singapore and Indonesia’s Riau Islands, linking the Strait of Malacca with the South China Sea.

Strait of Malacca: A major sea passage between the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra, connecting the Andaman Sea with the Singapore Strait. It forms the western continuation of the route through the Singapore Strait.
Port of Singapore: A major international seaport serving Singapore and transshipment routes worldwide. The strait provides the port’s maritime access to the Indian and Pacific oceans.
