South African Communist Party

The South African Communist Party is a Marxist-Leninist political party founded in 1921. It has been a longstanding ally of the African National Congress and a participant in South Africa’s liberation struggle and post-apartheid politics.

International Socialist League: A South African socialist organization founded in 1915 that helped establish the Communist Party of South Africa. It supplied organizers and a political tradition for the party founded in 1921.
