South Tyrol

South Tyrol is an autonomous province in northern Italy, officially called the Autonomous Province of Bolzano–South Tyrol. German, Italian, and Ladin are its official languages.

Treaty of Saint-Germain-en-Laye: The 1919 peace treaty that dissolved Austria-Hungary and assigned South Tyrol to Italy. It transferred South Tyrol from Austria to Italy after the First World War.
