Sozomen

Sozomen was a fifth-century Christian historian whose Ecclesiastical History recounts events in the church and Roman Empire from 324 to 439.

Ecclesiastical history: A historical genre that narrates the development of Christian communities, institutions, and doctrine. Sozomen’s work belongs to this genre and extends its narrative into the fifth century.
