Hybrid care: A care model combining in-person visits with remote clinical services. Many services use telehealth for some steps and physical visits for others.
HIPAA: A United States law establishing standards for health information privacy, security, and related administrative practices. Its privacy and security requirements shape how covered organizations handle telehealth information.
Telehealth equity: The fair distribution of access, quality, and benefits in healthcare delivered through remote technologies. Technology access and accessibility can reproduce or reduce existing health disparities.
