Theatre of the Oppressed

A set of participatory theatre practices developed by Augusto Boal that help people analyze oppression, rehearse alternatives, and act toward social change.

Forum Theatre: A performance method in which spectators interrupt a scene of oppression and propose or enact alternatives. This central technique lets participants rehearse interventions rather than merely discuss them.
