Thermoproteota

Thermoproteota is a phylum of Archaea that includes many heat-loving organisms, including Sulfolobus and Thermoproteus. Its members occupy diverse environments and include both aerobic and anaerobic metabolisms.

Archaea: Archaea are single-celled organisms with distinctive cellular chemistry, including membrane lipids unlike those of bacteria and eukaryotes. Thermoproteota belongs to this domain, whose molecular traits distinguish it from Bacteria.
