Venustiano Carranza

Venustiano Carranza was a Mexican revolutionary leader who headed the Constitutionalist faction and served as president of Mexico from 1917 to 1920.

Mexican Revolution: An armed conflict beginning in 1910 that ended the long rule of Porfirio Díaz and transformed Mexican politics. Carranza became one of the revolution’s leading figures after the 1913 coup against Francisco Madero.
