Westminster Abbey

Westminster Abbey is a Gothic church in London used for British royal coronations and as the burial place of monarchs and notable figures.

Coronation of Elizabeth II: The 1953 ceremony in which Elizabeth II was crowned queen at Westminster Abbey. The abbey’s first coronation after the Second World War brought its ritual and setting to a global audience.
