Yahwism

Yahwism was the ancient Israelite religion centered on worship of Yahweh. It developed over time into forms of Judaism while retaining diverse practices and beliefs.

Yahweh: Yahweh is the national deity worshiped by ancient Israelites and the God of Judaism. Yahwism takes its name from the deity at the center of its worship.

Babylonian captivity: The Babylonian captivity was the deportation of Judean elites to Babylonia after Jerusalem's conquest in 586 BCE. Exile forced major reinterpretations of Yahweh's power, covenant, and people's survival.
Hebrew Bible: The Hebrew Bible is the collection of Jewish scriptures comprising the Torah, Prophets, and Writings. Its texts preserve diverse accounts and later interpretations of Israelite worship.
Tabernacle: The Tabernacle is the portable sanctuary described in the Hebrew Bible as accompanying the Israelites in the wilderness. Biblical tradition presents it as an early setting for Yahweh's cult.
