Sancho III of Pamplona

Sancho III, known as Sancho the Great, was king of Pamplona from 1004 to 1035 and extended his authority across much of Christian northern Iberia.

Kingdom of Pamplona: A medieval Christian kingdom centered in the western Pyrenees, later known as the Kingdom of Navarre. Pamplona was Sancho’s inherited kingdom and the base of his wider authority.
