Siam

Siam was the former official name of Thailand, used internationally until the country adopted the name Thailand in 1939.

Sukhothai Kingdom: A Thai kingdom that flourished in mainland Southeast Asia from the thirteenth to fifteenth centuries. Its rise marks an early center of Thai state formation before Ayutthaya.
Mongkut: King of Siam from 1851 to 1868, known internationally as Rama IV. His diplomacy and reforms helped Siam navigate pressure from expanding European empires.
