Turkish Armed Forces

The military institution responsible for Turkey’s national defense, comprising the land, naval, and air forces. Its history includes repeated interventions in civilian politics.

Turkish Land Forces: The army branch of Turkey’s military, responsible primarily for land operations. It is the largest service branch and the force most directly involved in domestic interventions.
